No. It is the story I am writing based on the 3D virtual world story I created for the National Library of Medicine in 2009 about a man who lived with HIV and a woman who wanted to help him. Soon the two worlds will intersect with one another (I am almost done rebuilding the 3D environment) and we’ll get to see if the two play well with one another. It’s a challenge but I’m enjoying it a lot.
No, I agree. It’s just that it’s important to me that the information and characters be solidly grounded in reality. It’s my way of honoring the many people who took the time to educate and share their stories with me.
You're not supposed to know where it is going yet. Imagine you are reading the first chapters of a book. The scene has been set, something has happened that requires the main character to change, and you are about to embark on a journey of change with that character. My main goal is that you be curious and understand the basic premise of the story, which is to increase awareness, debunk stigmas, allay fears, and build empathy through the story of someone who lived with HIV.
Excellent writing. The story seamlessly flowed along.
Thank you, Stanley!
Jena, this is your personal story, correct?

I think it’s marvelous.
Thank you :-)
To be fair, the main character - D - is based on several people I met and interviewed for the project. He is sort of a composite :-)
There is nothing untoward about creating your unique character.

Can't wait for the next episode. 🙂
So this grabbed your attention and moved the story forward for you?
Authors asking questions. This is good.
Me too. I’m not sure where you’re going.
