Why doesn't this surprise me that Faith is being vengeful? Sounds like she has an issue with Native Americans and the fact her brother was in love with a man.
Yeah, when she first auditioned to join the cast (I thoroughly vet each character - lol) I saw her as a real villain. I’ve had a lot of Faiths in my life who have negative, knee jerk reactions to anything that challenges their view of how the world should behave or interferes with their self-interests. Over time, I began to see that there are always reasons for their hateful, and often dangerous behavior so my hope/plan for Faith is to give her a modicum of humanity. Does that increase or lessen the suspense?

Increases. One has to wonder if she can learn from her negative behavior. Some are willing in life, and some just aren't.

I am not at all sure if Faith is redeemable but my characters will do their best to not let her spoil their discoveries :-)
